Our Support Workers will also meet the minimum experience requirements set down by the NDIA’s Guide to Suitability. Currently, Disability Support Workers, Developmental Educators, Welfare Workers and Social Workers are expected to have experience delivering person-centred services in the community or in the home and delivering supports to assist people with disability with development of their skills and abilities. If delivering disability support, staff will meet the minimum qualification and experience requirements in accordance with regulatory expectations and in observance of relevant standards. Minimum qualification and experience requirements will be included in recruitment documentation and Position Descriptions.
